THOM ROBERTS + STUDIO A

Thom Wants to Dance in Venice is a new collaboration between Thom Roberts (Studio A) and Scott Wright (Erth) through creative laboratories held in Australia and at the Societas Raffaelo Sanzio studios in Cesena, Italy.

As part of this development, Roberts will interpret the physical language shared between mothers and their young through a series of improvisational sessions within a performance installation setting. Participating artists include Chiara Guidi, Teodora Castellucci, Solomon Thomas, Emma Johnston and Elias Nohra.

In September 2019 Thom travelled to Cesana, Italy for a week long residency at Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio under the mentorship of SRS Director Chiara Guidi, and Scott Wright, Artistic Director of Erth Visual and Physical Inc.
