Here’s what to expect next …
An Erth performer will invite you to the footbridge to begin.
Children will be given headphones.
Selected adults will be given illuminated firefly puppets.
Children will be prompted when to put on their headphones. Adults will be shown how to activate their fireflies.
When the voiceover begins, children will follow an Erth performer down the stairs to the sunken garden. Adults with fireflies will remain upstairs.
Once in the sunken garden, children will meet the inflatable puppet Fauna.
Fauna will invite them to sit on rugs and, if they like, wrap themselves in blankets.
They will listen to Fauna’s story through their headphones.
Meanwhile, adults with fireflies will descend the stairs in a choreographed swarm, joining the children and Fauna.
At the end, Fauna will say goodbye.
Children and adults will return their items (headphones and fireflies) to the designated collection point.
After returning items, audiences will exit the gardens via the stairs (or via the lift if needed).
After the event, you will receive a follow-up email containing the soundtrack the children heard.
